Derived from	E.coli
Purity	Greater than 80% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 20mM PB,150mM NaCl,1mM DTT,pH7.4.
Storage	Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days.Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.
Reconstitution	Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/ml.Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Endotoxin	Less than 0.1 ng/ug (1 EU/ug) as determined by LAL test.
Background	Actin-Related Protein 8 (ACTR8) is a member of the Actin family. ACTR8 is the first example in actin family that was found to be associated with mitotic chromosomes. ACTR8 plays a vital role in the functional organization of mitotic chromosomes. This protein is a proposed core component of the chromatin remodeling INO80 complex that is involved in transcriptional regulation, DNA replication and probable DNA repair, and it is required for the recruitment of INO80 (and probably the INO80 complex) to sites of DNA damage.
